Who is responsible

Your videos
- Local files: opened, previewed, trimmed and exported in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or to any third party.
- Import from a URL: your browser downloads the video directly from the server that hosts it, using a plain request without cookies or referrer. That server can log the request (for example your IP address). Clipvexa does not receive the video or the link. After the download the video is processed on your device.
- Nothing is stored between visits. Reloading the page clears the project.
Data we process
- Server logs. The service that delivers the site (Cloudflare) receives your IP address, browser type and the page requested to deliver and protect the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running and securing the service.
- Your consent choice, stored in your browser (local storage), so we remember it. It is strictly necessary and contains no personal data.
- With your consent only: Google Analytics 4 measures page views and aggregate editor events (for example “export completed”). Events never include file names, video content, links you import or local paths. Legal basis: consent.
- With your consent only: Google AdSense may show ads and uses cookies for that purpose. Legal basis: consent. No ads are active at the moment.
Recipients and transfers
Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and network) and, if you consent, Google (Analytics and AdSense) may process data outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States, under the safeguards these providers apply, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Hosting logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider. Analytics data is kept for the period configured in Google Analytics. Your consent choice stays in your browser until you clear it or change it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to its processing. You can withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie settings”. Write to contact@clipvexa.cloud. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or to your local data protection authority.
Children
Clipvexa is not aimed at children under 15 and does not knowingly collect their data.
